Sealed bids for the construction of OKOLONA 2024 ARPA WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the City of Okolona, 215 West Main Street, Okolona, MS 38860, until 10:00 a.m., July 31st, 2024 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the office of Engineering Solutions, Inc., located at 180 Magee Drive, Pontotoc, MS and also can be viewed and/or purchased at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com.

SCOPE OF WORK: Approximately 6,500 feet of 8-4 inch ductile water line and 2,200 feet of 8 and 10 inch TV/Cleaning and 2,200 feet of CIPP or Sewer Replacement.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be unit price pay items as indicated in the Bid Form. Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, are being made available via paper copy or digital copy. Plan holders are required to log-in or register for a plan room account at www.esiplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid Documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. For anyone interested in submitting bids electronically in place of sealed bid, they may do so only through www.esiplans.com. SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONIC BIDS: Each electronically submitted bid must be submitted in "pdf' format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids.

Note - electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void by the owner.

Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside "Bid for: OKOLONA 2024 ARPA WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS".

A satisfacto1y Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the CITY OF OKOLONA, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.
