Sealed bids for the construction of TURNER PARK CPKC RAIL SPUR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the Lee County Board of Supervisors at 300 West Main St, Tupelo, MS 38804, (P.O. Box 1785 Tupelo, MS 38804) until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the Lee County Board office, or at the office of Engineering Solutions, Inc., located at 1324 N. Veterans Blvd, Tupelo, MS and can be viewed and/or purchased at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com.

SCOPE OF WORK: The removal of existing corrugated metal pipes and the installation of a restrained joint 10’x5’ pre-cast box culvert and aprons. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be priced per the pay items as indicated in the Bid Form. Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, are being made available via paper copy or digital copy. Plan holders are required to log-in or register for a plan room account at www.esiplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid Documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONIC BIDS: Each electronically submitted bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Note – electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void by the owner.

Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside “Bid for: TURNER PARK CPKC RAIL SPUR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS”.

A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the LEE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.
